Coaching procedures and standards:
- Free consultation session: To learn a little bit about you and to ensure that we are a good fit. I would love to hear about you and what you are trying to accomplish, and would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
- Commitment/Termination: At the outset, I ask all my clients to be committed to a minimum of 4 months of coaching. If within the first 30 days of our coaching relationship, you feel that the process is unlikely to make a difference in your business or personal life, you will get your cheques or money returned for the following months.
- Payment: The first month’s fee is due on the date of the first session, with all subsequent month’s fees paid via post-dated cheques on the first of each month.
- Discovery session: 2 hours in person or over the phone. In this session, we will get to know one another, and you will learn to ‘discover’ yourself with your new coach.
- Confidentiality: Everything that we discuss and share is kept confidential.
- Scheduling: The day and time of sessions will be agreed upon and scheduled, and repeated monthly. Any changes must be made via telephone or e-mail and confirmed either by phone or e-mail 24 hours in advance. Telephone sessions are a minimum of 40 minutes.
- Call Procedure: The coach will either call the client or the client will call at the prearranged number on the day and time scheduled. It is a pre-arranged call, like going to an appointment. Be ready for your coaching appointment.
- Contact between sessions: You may e-mail me between your coaching sessions if required. This is often necessary with respect to feedback and an update of your accomplishments. You may also want to e-mail me prior to each coaching session to let me know how things are going, or what you would like to work on in the next session.
- What can you expect from me as your Coach: Honesty and constructive feedback. It is my commitment that you stay focused on achieving your business and life goals. Honesty and a straightforward approach is important to being able to identify the true challenges and obstacles. I will honour your right to refuse. I will not judge, and I will honour your choices with respect.
What do I expect from my Clients
To believe in yourself and the coaching process. Give our relationship the time and energy it requires. Be open and honest with me. Tell me what you’re thinking and what you’re feeling. Listen. Trust the process.
